✨ Art Exhibition ✨

My art group - Haltemprice Art Group - are holding their annual art exhibition in April this year. This will be the art group’s 77th annual exhibition, and it’s held in the Cottingham Civic Hall, East Yorkshire. Here are the dates for your diaries:

Opening Evening (6pm - 9pm):
Wednesday 22nd April 2026

Exhibition Dates (10am - 5pm):
Thursday 23rd April 2026
Friday 24th April 2026
Saturday 25th April 2026

It’s free to come and have a look around, and there will be lots of different types of artwork on display, all made by the lovely members of our art group.

I’ll be busy in the run up to the exhibition working on some artwork to display. Many of the pieces of artwork will be for sale, but it’s a nice event to come and simply have a look around, even if you’re not looking to buy! There will also be some greeting cards for sale, too.

If you live in the East Yorkshire area (or further if you’d like to travel for a day out!) come along and have a look. ☺️ At the exhibition, you can usually vote for your favourite painting, and some of my art group display sketchbooks to have a look at, too. (I won’t be displaying a sketchbook this year as I haven’t really been working in one. 🤭)

(Simply enter through the front door and then through the door on your right. Two of our art group are normally sat by the entrance to say hello. Lists of the artworks and prices are available for a small fee and there are usually raffle tickets available to win a piece of artwork. 🙂)
