Pet Portrait Commission Slots
Over the last few months, I've been really busy working on lots of lovely pet portraits. They've been an absolute pleasure to draw. Thank you so much to everyone who has trusted me to draw their beautiful pet or pets.
I only really started offering pet portrait commissions in 2025, and I've been overwhelmed (in a really great way) by the lovely, supportive feedback that I've received - thank you so much! It's been my first opportunity to see how my pet portrait diary changes over the course of the year. Last year, I found that, from around September, my diary started to fill up quite quickly. So, although it's only April now, I wanted to put a quick blog post out to let you know that I have some pet portrait slots available in my diary at the moment. Therefore, if you'd like to order a pet portrait online, through my website, now's a good time!
Here's a little more information:
I work from your reference photos, which you can upload through my website when adding the pet portrait to your basket. ☺️ I tend to ask for a few photographs to help me to check the lighting and work out the best composition.

I've spent a long time perfecting my printing, to try to achieve a really high quality print of each piece of artwork that I produce. I currently print all of my portraits on Marrutt 230gsm Matte paper, which I've chosen for its lovely smooth and chalky texture.

I print my pet portraits as A4 art prints, and there's the option to order your artwork with a beautiful 11"x14" mount. I choose to create my prints and mounted prints in these sizes so that you can hopefully find a frame to fit, if you're planning on framing your artwork! If you choose to order a mounted pet portrait, I also place my signature on the mount, along with your pet's name as the title of the artwork.
I love to draw lots of different types of animal! So far, I've created portraits of dogs, cats, a tortoise and a moth! They were all so special to draw. If you have a different type of animal, please feel free to order through my website - it doesn't have to be a cat, dog or reptile!
As I create all of the artwork myself, from the start to the end, I'm more than happy to discuss bespoke requests! Please get in touch - I'd love to discuss your ideas. ☺️
As I mentioned earlier, I've learned that my year has peaks and troughs where sometimes I can finish your portrait within a week or two, or sometimes my pet portrait diary is fully booked for a few months ahead. If you need your pet portrait for a special date, please get in touch and I can let you know my current timescales.
To make each pet portrait that extra bit special, they all come with a signed certificate of authenticity. Custom pet portraits drawn by an artist are a special way to celebrate or commemorate a beloved pet, and they're also a wonderful and thoughtful gift for anyone who owns or has owned a pet.
Hopefully I've explained everything but, if you have any questions at all, please feel free to send me a message. Here's the link to the Contact Form:

Thanks so much for reading my all about my artist drawn pet portraits, and thank you to everyone who has already commissioned me to draw their special pets. It means the world to me! 🌟
Thank you,
