Steam Train Birthday Card

A personalised greeting card for steam train lovers, illustrated and handmade in East Yorkshire

Celebrate a birthday or special milestone with this personalised steam train greeting card, featuring my original hand-illustrated artwork of steam engine number 80136, which runs on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

Designed for train enthusiasts, steam railway fans and train spotters, this card makes a thoughtful choice for dad, grandad, uncle, brother, son, or any special friend or relative. Every card features my own illustration, printed, scored, folded and packaged by me in my small studio in East Yorkshire, ensuring a beautifully finished product made with care.

Personalisation

The front of the card can be personalised with your chosen wording.

You can simply select “Happy Birthday” as standard, or enter your own custom message, such as:

• “Happy 100th Birthday”

• “Happy Retirement, Paul”

• A name or short phrase

Please enter your exact wording in the personalisation box before adding the card to your basket.

Your message will be printed with the same spelling that you type in the box, so please double-check spelling before buying the card. Thank you! ☺️

Important notes:

• The longer the message for the front of your card, the smaller the font size will be.

• I will use a capital letter at the beginning of each name, unless you request otherwise.

• Lovely words and phrases only please - no swear words or inappropriate nicknames, as these don’t align with my business values. Thank you for understanding. 💛

Safety and Product Information

Your card and its packaging are made from paper and card. Please handle them carefully to reduce the risk of paper cuts. Please keep your items away from candles, flames or sources of heat. To keep your card in pristine condition, it’s best to avoid touching the printed surface where possible and keep your card away from moisture or liquids.

Shipping Information

Orders for greeting cards are dispatched from England using the following services:

• UK deliveries: Royal Mail Second Class

• International deliveries: Royal Mail International Standard

Where necessary, a different delivery provider or service may be used.

Delivery providers are third parties. Your personal information (such as name, address and contact details) will be shared with the delivery provider solely for the purpose of delivering your order and providing tracking updates. Once shared, the delivery provider becomes the data handler for your information. By placing an order, you consent to this data sharing. Please refer to the delivery provider’s privacy policy for further details.

International Customs & Duties

All orders are dispatched from England.

For international orders, I may need to provide your full name, address, email address and telephone number to the delivery provider for customs clearance and delivery updates.

Orders to the USA

Orders to the USA are sent using a PDDP (Postal Delivered Duties Paid) service. All customs duties and import taxes are paid in advance and included in the shipping cost at checkout.

Orders to Other International Destinations

Orders shipped outside England may be subject to customs duties, taxes or import fees set by the destination country. These charges are not included in the item or shipping price and are the responsibility of the buyer. I recommend checking with your local customs office if you’re unsure about potential charges.

Returns

Please be aware that custom and personalised cards are not returnable as they cannot be resold if they include custom text. If an item arrives damaged, my normal returns policy applies. Please get in touch straight away if your item arrives damaged. Thank you.
